Eugene Ansah - Ghana   Eugene Ansah - Ghana Eugene Ansah is the Lead Drummer of the award winning Ghanaian Odehe Dance Company. He has been drumming for the last 20 years, and been teaching for more than 12 years. Ansah is based in Ghana, where he is the lead instructor at the Odehe Centre, which teaches drumming and dancing to international students. He has also performed widely in Europe, particulary Germany and Norway, and has also led workshops with international students in Europe. This will be Ansah's second visit to Rustlers Valley, the first being in 1999 when Ansah toured South Africa with other Odehe Dance Company members, teaching and performing at various festivals in KwaZulu Natal and the Free State. He is known for his patience and good sense of humour, but also knows how to push people so that they go beyond what they thought they could learn within a limited time. Ansah will share with the Rustlers workshop his years of experience.
